...And Then the Stork Turned

Chris and I met in April of 2005, we fell madly in love and got married on May 12, 2007. We started trying for our honeymoon baby, which never happened. We kept trying on our own until January 2008 when we got help for infertility. We went through 5 IUI's and 3 IVF's. None of the IUI's worked, and the IVF's resulted in 2 cheimcal pregnancies and one blighted ovum, 3 early miscarriages. The last IVF cycle was in March/April 09 and between blood draws and injections had a total needle count of 60. After that didn't work, we were both done with the emotional roller coaster of treatment. We have decided to pursue domestic infant adoption and began our adventure in October 2009. It's March now and we have chosen an agency and submitted our application. Our home study starts very soon and we've already started the nursery!
